Welp, here we are, the brink of March break. Been a few years since I've stopped celebrating that (so to speak) as in, I'm an old bat with no school aged kids. Back in the day on many of said breaks we'd be bailing out of the country for a cruise or to hit up an all inclusive somewhere warm. Not anymore, now we stick close to home and explore and play in our own backyard. Lots to do in our "own backyard" so to speak, mind you it's not as warm as the Caribbean but there's lots of cool stuff to keep one amused. My March break actually began March 1st and ends March 31st ha ha. It's usually at this point in the year where my creative tank sputters on low fuel with intermittent sparks of random ideas, such as the newspaper photos I've been posting these past couple of days. I've been exploring some local antique places for ideas and possibly more props for my studio loft and attending outdoor shows. In one of those places, I came across this cool cat that most likely weighs half of what our resident fur goddess does. He effortlessly leapt onto to this counter and struck a pose for me. He was disappointed that I did not purchase a single item in his establishment nor hand him over a treat.

Wait a minute, the coffee is kicking in, I do have some potential opportunities for new shots! Duh! There's dog sled races out on the lake tomorrow and Sunday and a double 90th birthday party at a swanky golf and country club Sunday. I have been wearing hoodies and leggings since the beginning of Covid so I will have to dig deep into the back of my clothes closet and see if I've got something decent to wear, including footwear. I'll try and look like a girl again. Wish me luck. Hope you all are doing well and have a great weekend!

Peace, love and kumbaya,
Heather
