Well, 1 more sleep until Art in the Park, downtown Tweed!
46 artists and artisans are participating now, I hope you make
the trek to our lovely little town and stop in and check out our art! I even bought a new canopy for the occasion. I will be bringing a variety of sizes of canvas (mostly 12"x8" and 8"x10" along with a few larger ones) that would make excellent gifts or sparkle up a dull blank spot on your walls. I hope you come and support local. It will be a fun day! (FYI-I can only accept cash or e-transfer at this time)
Next week I'm off for my family's 3rd annual back country adventure. Last year it took us 5.5 hrs to get to our campsite along the snakiest, beaver dammed river (7 or 8 dams I think). This year I believe our portages are fewer and shorter I've been told. This year I have to remember to bring those little salt packs to sprinkle on the leeches that manage to attach themselves to my toes lol. I know, gross.
Ok, it's a long weekend, I hope you get out there and do something exciting, there's LOTS going on if you want to be busy or simply just grab a comfy chair and park yourself on it and chill. Whatever floats your boat. We're checking out the new @Right Up Your Alley Bowling Centre in town tonight for my husband's birthday, Art in the Park tomorrow, more birthday shenanigans and Sunday I'm headed to Kawartha Downs to shoot Serena Ryder and check out the midway. Monday can kiss my butt, I'll be editing. lol.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
Peace, love and kumbaya,
Heather
