First week of school almost in the books for all the parents and kidless out there. Hope it went smoothly for all concerned. Last weekend was the Tweed Stampede & Jamboree (aka my very first rodeo!) It was everything I thought it would be and then some. It was hot and dusty and jam-packed with events and cowboys and cowgirls and look-loos like me. I spent quite a bit of time sitting along the rodeo ring in the dirt taking photos. The lure of barrel racing, pole racing, bucking broncos and bulls was overwhelming for me. Eye candy to me and my camera. Of course I took far too many photos and I'm midway through editing shots from the weekend. I hope to be done in the next day or so......I got distracted this past week what can I say? So I'm cutting this week's blog short (do I hear a huge sigh of relief?)
So ponder this one folks.....I'm getting ready to put together my annual calendar. Any thoughts to what you'd like to see in it this year? Let me know in the comments below please! Have a great weekend and stay safe!
The photo above is of Lake Ontario, at the foot of Liverpool Rd in Pickering, Ontario. Does it not look like the tree stump is "Thing" from the Addams family?
Peace, love and kumbaya,
Heather
