I did not know this was a thing. I'm not sure I'm going to partake in a sandwich made of this later on today. So far coffee is on the menu this morning. I'm on my second one. It's girl's weekend. I'm up at the lake with some of my kindergarten mates. It's a holiday from our spouses and the toils of every day life (it is a holiday for our spouses too) I thank god for the opportunity. I'm a lucky gal.
In previous years, girls weekend meant we'd party like rockstars but now a days, we're more subdued. We play games and do karaoke. This weekend I brought up my camera, 2 lenses, my laptop, my iPad and my photographer's pocket notebook. Apparently I'm going to be doing a bit of work as it's overcast and grey with slushy snow on the ground. A walk may happen or it may not, it's hunting season. There's also Starlink up here. So far this blog is as much work as I've done. That could be all I accomplish, who knows. Fingers crossed because I have to do some work on my website because it's sucking pretty bad and I've far too many images on it. None of y'all ever go there except for maybe to read my blog. I want to make it easy to navigate and more functional. I keep on getting emails from folks from the inter web telling me my site is not at the top of the google page. I have no clue really what that means but I'm going to try and rectify that too.
Blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada......the 2 sisters around me here at the cottage kitchen table are online playing slots and poker whilst I click away at my keyboard. The rest of the crew are still in bed. I'm thinking about logging on to my website. Thinking about it only. Perhaps I should ponder that over a 3rd coffee, yikes! Have a good weekend and drive safe out on the roads.
